—– Who told you that was the target profit margin? I don’t have any problem with you knowing your numbers, and the dollars. But I disagree with that target profit margin.
—– We always have the discussion about Single No Kids vs raising an early family. And those who are married with children, or who have children, make more money than those who don’t.
—– So if you tell me that a high profit margin is best, and lean headcount is best, you’re telling me that your company wants low future growth. Put your money in your “children”. Does that make sense to you?
—– I once sent my complaint to the Nashville Songwriters Association. Maybe pop culture can make a song out of this quandary also. I leave the music genre open to you subject-matter-experts.

—– I’m all in. And I’m declaring the attitude of the present corporate entities and company entities fertile ground. I want to work within the system. And I want to help. I’m not into immortality (Lucy). They get more wealth if they have hire more people, and they maintain their wealth if they support their “children”. I’m not into government re-distribution. And it was never about that. But if you are purely a single corporate entity, with a zero loyalty headcount, we’ll take you to the cleaners. Just look around you for the proof.
