This is a milestone. My page has five followers, and you did it all. I make each post something worth reading, looking it, or watching. When the occasional posts come to your email, I want them to be worth your time reading them. And tell your friends. [Donate online to KeepYourHouse]
—– I first used songwriters and reporters when I lost a temporary job at a light assembly copack plant. I took an easy quick-money low-pay job through a staffing firm. And several of the workers said I should move my skill level up. Then wanted me to calibrate the weighing machines, clear the assembly machines of jams and load packing tape into the packing machines. [Donate online to KeepYourHouse]
—– But a different side of the assembly line wanted their favorite to do all of that. My supporters packaged all of the preferred tasks, and cheered me to learn and do them. But that same bundle of preferred tasks was obvious to my opponents; so my opponents pushed their favorite in front of me all of the time. [Donate online to KeepYourHouse]
—– We were all temporary employees of the same staffing firm.
—– My pride got the best of me, since I had a BBA. I thought I deserved and was entitled to the preferred tasks of the machine operator, instead of the lower tasks of light assembly. And while I insisted that the tasks were mine, security threw me out. [Donate online to KeepYourHouse]
—– I knew that the temp company wouldn’t back me up. And I knew that their arbitration procedures wouldn’t back me up either. So I emailed the entire story to the Nashville Songwriters Association. I told them to write a song about it. Since I knew that management rarely backs me up in any conflict, I just continued to send my grievances to songwriters, authors, actors and reporters since that time. [Donate online to KeepYourHouse]
This entry shows a great workout, because I burned 1,000 calories. A pound is 3,500 calories. So this 1,000 calorie-burn is a great daily start. It says I can balance the calories I eat, by burning the calories through daily exercise. Then I have no net daily gain, at the worst. And I might burn calories each day, like a torch, at the best. And the varied exercises guarantee that I don’t incur injuries that come with repetitive motion. I change body motion each hour.
“The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends limiting the amount of added sugars you consume to no more than half of your daily discretionary calories allowance. For most American women, that’s no more than 100 calories per day, or about 6 teaspoons [25 grams] of sugar. For men, it’s 150 calories per day, or about 9 teaspoons [36 grams]. ” – I am going to have to work on this.
Los Angeles Times – “Added sugar is hidden in all kinds of processed foods. A single tablespoon of ketchup has about one teaspoon of sugar. A Quaker chewy granola bar with chocolate chips has almost two teaspoons of sugar. A single cup of apple juice or a container of Yoplait’s original strawberry yogurt would take up your entire recommended daily allowance.” (http://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-added-sugar-who-six-teaspoons-per-day-20140305-story.html)
